{"id":5194819,"date":"2012-03-13T20:23:13","date_gmt":"2012-03-13T18:23:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ozono21.com\/blog\/?p=5194819"},"modified":"2026-02-16T10:03:38","modified_gmt":"2026-02-16T08:03:38","slug":"beneficios-del-consumo-de-pescado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ozono21.com\/blog\/salud\/beneficios-del-consumo-de-pescado\/","title":{"rendered":"Los beneficios del consumo de pescado para la salud son superiores a sus riesgos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5194820\" style=\"margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; cursor: hand; border: 0px;\" title=\"Los beneficios del consumo de pescado para la salud son superiores a sus riesgos\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ozono21.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/consumo-de-pescado.jpg\" alt=\" Beneficios del consumo de pescado \" width=\"247\" height=\"222\" \/><a title=\"Ozono21 PESCADO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ozono21.com\/sectores-pagina\/industriales\/pesca\/29\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Los Beneficios del consumo de pescado para la salud son superiores a sus riesgos y por el contrario una ingesta escasa de estos alimentos puede tener consecuencias negativas y desequilibrar la dieta, seg\u00fan destacaron varios profesionales reunidos en el I Simposio Nacional de Ciencia, Pescado y Salud. <\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>Fuente: consumer (6 de noviembre de 2011)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Diversos profesionales de los campos de la nutrici\u00f3n, la medicina y la veterinaria compararon las ventajas e inconvenientes del pescado y marisco en este encuentro, organizado por la <strong>Confederaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Pesca (Cepesca), con el apoyo del Fondo de Regulaci\u00f3n y Organizaci\u00f3n del Mercado de los Productos de la Pesca y Cultivos Marinos (FROM).<\/strong> Seg\u00fan las conclusiones del simposio, <strong>entre los consumidores de pescado hay un 25% menos de muertes por cualquier causa y una incidencia menor de episodios de paro cardiaco, arritmias o de c\u00e1nceres de ri\u00f1\u00f3n, pr\u00f3stata y colon. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La secretaria general del FROM, Isabel Hern\u00e1ndez, explic\u00f3 que en la <strong>\u00abecuaci\u00f3n beneficio versus riesgo, gana el beneficio\u00bb<\/strong>. Hern\u00e1ndez y otros ponentes reconocieron que en el pescado existen contaminantes, como el mercurio, pero tambi\u00e9n otros elementos qu\u00edmicos que lo \u00abcontrarrestan\u00bb,<strong> como <big><a title=\"OZONO21 Selenio\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ozono21.com\/blog\/salud\/riesgos-y-beneficios-del-selenio-un-nutriente-indispensable\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">el selenio, que se encuentra en las aguas y es positivo en la dieta<\/a><\/big>. Adem\u00e1s, el pescado y marisco contienen \u00abomega 3\u00bb, prote\u00ednas y vitaminas y, seg\u00fan los reunidos, cumplen un papel en la alimentaci\u00f3n que no suplen otros productos, por lo que su consumo escaso s\u00ed puede perjudicar al desarrollo de los ni\u00f1os o provocar enfermedades. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La responsable del FROM se\u00f1al\u00f3 que es necesario evaluar c\u00f3mo act\u00faan los contaminantes seg\u00fan las especificidades de cada especie, otras variables que influyen en la dieta y, sobre todo, <strong>el efecto en poblaciones <big><a title=\"OZONO21 Comer pescado para potenciar la capacidad intelectual \" href=\"https:\/\/www.ozono21.com\/blog\/salud\/comer-pescado-para-potenciar-la-capacidad-intelectual\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">m\u00e1s sensibles como las mujeres embarazadas o los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os<\/a><\/big>. <\/strong>\u00abTenemos que tener m\u00e1s cuidado en cuanto a lo que decimos sobre qu\u00e9 consumir o no consumir\u00bb, afirm\u00f3. Hern\u00e1ndez apunt\u00f3 que tampoco es bueno \u00ablanzar alarmas innecesarias que disminuyan el consumo\u00bb. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El presidente de la Fundaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Nutrici\u00f3n, Gregorio Varela, manifest\u00f3 que \u00abse nos olvida <strong>su <big><a title=\"Ozono21  Pescado disminuye el riesgo de Diabetes\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ozono21.com\/blog\/toxinas\/comer-pescado-disminuye-el-riesgo-de-diabetes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">magn\u00edfico aporte de prote\u00ednas, superior<\/a><\/big> al de la carne<\/strong>\u00ab. Varela cit\u00f3 entre los \u00abgrandes mitos de la nutrici\u00f3n\u00bb el del <strong>pescado azul<\/strong>, que pas\u00f3 de ser la \u00abcenicienta\u00bb a la \u00abestrella\u00bb. El catedr\u00e1tico de Toxicolog\u00eda de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Arturo Anad\u00f3n afirm\u00f3 que \u00ab<strong>el riesgo de no comer pescado es mayor al que tiene comerlo\u00bb<\/strong>. Entre los beneficios, Anad\u00f3n <strong>record\u00f3 su bajo contenido en sodio y sus propiedades contra las enfermedades cardiovasculares.<\/strong><\/p>\n<table border=\"3\" cellspacing=\"0\"
