El compuesto se conoce como lantibi\u00f3tico, forma parte de los antibi\u00f3ticos p\u00e9ptidos y lo produce una bacteria inofensiva<\/a><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>Fuente: consumer (22 de agosto de 2011)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan explican los investigadores, se trata del primer conservante natural capaz de neutralizar a las bacterias gram-negativas. <strong>Este tipo de organismos, entre los que se encuentran la salmonella y la E.coli, son los causantes, en general, de que los alimentos se estropeen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Pero adem\u00e1s de actuar como conservante de alimentos perecederos, los cient\u00edficos explican que el lantibi\u00f3tico es de f\u00e1cil digesti\u00f3n y que es dif\u00edcil que las bacterias generen resistencias a \u00e9l.<\/strong>Tambi\u00e9n destacan que no presenta toxicidad y que tampoco provoca alergias.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los investigadores ya han obtenido la patente que permite su comercializaci\u00f3n y est\u00e1 previsto que lo incluyan en la composici\u00f3n de una gran variedad de alimentos, como carnes, quesos procesados, huevos, productos enlatados o mariscos. <strong>Sin embargo, expertos en alimentaci\u00f3n advierten que la introducci\u00f3n de este compuesto en la cadena alimentaria todav\u00eda debe ser examinada en profundidad, lo que
